ROLL'N STRONG MOVING COMPANY SERVICE AGREEMENT
1. SCOPE OF SERVICES
1.1 Services Provided: The Company agrees to provide moving services, which may include packing, loading, transporting, unloading, and unpacking of Client’s personal property.
1.2 Service Area: The services will be provided within the geographic area of [City/State]. Any requests for services outside this area will be subject to additional charges.
1.3 Service Schedule: Services will commence on [Start Date] and be completed by [End Date], with specific timing to be confirmed between the parties.
1.4 Items Excluded: The Company does not move perishable items, hazardous materials, or items that are prohibited by law. The Client must disclose any items of extraordinary value or fragility.
2. PAYMENT TERMS
2.1 Pricing: Services will be charged based on an hourly rate of $149, with a minimum charge of [2 hours]. The total estimated cost will be agreed upon between company & client.
2.2 Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required upon signing this Agreement to secure the moving date.
2.3 Payment Schedule: The remaining balance is due upon completion of services. Payment may be made by cash, credit card, or check.
2.4 Additional Charges: Additional charges may apply for services that exceed the scope of work, including but not limited to long carries, stair fees, or additional packing materials. These charges will be itemized and added to the final invoice.
3. CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING
3.1 Cancellation: The Client may cancel this Agreement by providing at least 30-day notice in writing. If cancellation occurs with less notice, the Client forfeits the deposit. If move was booked less than 30 days in advance, there will be no refund of the deposit.
3.2 Rescheduling: The Client may reschedule the move with at least 14 day notice. The Company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the new date but cannot guarantee availability.
4. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PARTIES
4.1 Company Responsibilities:
Provide professional, skilled movers to perform the agreed-upon services.
Use care and diligence in packing, loading, transporting, and unloading Client’s property.
Maintain appropriate insurance coverage to protect against damages caused by Company negligence.
4.2 Client Responsibilities:
Provide accurate and complete information regarding the items to be moved.
Ensure all items are packed and ready for transport unless the packing service is included.
Ensure that the moving location is accessible for the moving truck and crew.
Arrange for parking permits if required.
Notify the Company of any changes to the service scope or schedule as soon as possible.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
6.1 Excluded Liability: The Company is not liable for damage to items not packed by its crew, pre-existing damage, or loss of items not disclosed by the Client.
6.2 Force Majeure: The Company is not liable for delays or damages caused by factors beyond its control, including but not limited to weather, traffic, or natural disasters.
6. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
7.1 Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of WA State.
7.2 Arbitration: Any disputes arising under this Agreement that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to binding arbitration in [City/State], in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
7. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
8.1 Complete Agreement: This Agreement, including all attachments, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements, understandings, or representations, whether oral or written.
8.2 Amendments: Any amendments to this Agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
8. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
