3. How is the cost of my move determined?
The cost of your move is based on several factors, including:
The distance of the move
The number of movers and trucks required
Any additional services, such as packing, Disassembly/reassembly 
We provide a detailed cost estimate before the move, so there are no surprises.

 

4. What are your payment options?
We accept payments via cash, credit card, or check. A deposit is required to secure your moving date, with the balance due upon completion of the move.

5. Do you offer packing services?
Yes, we offer professional packing services to ensure your items are securely packed for the move. We provide all necessary packing materials, and our team is trained to handle fragile and high-value items with care.

6. Can I pack my own belongings?
Absolutely! You can pack your own items if you prefer. We recommend using sturdy boxes and wrapping fragile items carefully. If you need packing supplies, we can provide boxes, tape, and other materials at a reasonable cost.

7. What items cannot be moved by Roll'n Strong?
For safety and legal reasons, we cannot move the following items:
Hazardous materials (e.g., chemicals, flammables)
Perishable food items
Live Animals
Valuables such as jewelry, cash, or important documents (we recommend transporting these personally)
If you’re unsure about a particular item, please ask us in advance.

 

8. How should I prepare for moving day?
Here are a few tips to help you prepare:

Ensure all items are packed and ready to go unless we are packing for you.
Label all boxes with their contents and the room they belong to.
Make arrangements for children and pets during the move to ensure their safety.
Ensure there is clear access to your home or office for our moving truck.
Notify your utility companies and other services of your move.

9. What if my new home or office isn't ready on moving day?
If your new location isn’t ready, we can re-schedule your move for another day at no extra cost. But we cannot guarantee availability.

10. What happens if my items are damaged during the move?
While we take every precaution to protect your belongings, accidents can happen. We provide basic liability coverage, and you have the option to purchase additional insurance for high-value items. If something is damaged, please report it immediately, and we’ll guide you through the claims process.

11. How far in advance should I book my move?
We recommend booking your move as early as possible, especially during peak moving seasons (summer and weekends). Ideally, you should book at least 4-6 weeks in advance. However, we understand that last-minute moves happen, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

12. What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel your move by providing us with a 30-day notice. If you cancel with less notice, you may forfeit your deposit. For more details, please refer to our service agreement.

13. Do you offer moving services for businesses?

Yes, we specialize in commercial moves, including office relocations, retail moves, and industrial moves. We work closely with business owners to minimize downtime and ensure a smooth transition.

14. Do you move specialty items like pianos or antiques?
Yes, we have the expertise and equipment to move specialty items such as pianos, antiques, fine art, and other high-value or delicate items. Please inform us in advance if you have such items, so we can plan accordingly.

15. Can I ride in the moving truck?
For insurance and safety reasons, we cannot allow clients to ride in the moving truck. You’ll need to arrange your own transportation to your new location.

16. What measures do you take to ensure the safety of my belongings?
Our team is trained in proper packing, lifting, and moving techniques. We use high-quality packing materials, protective padding, and secure loading practices to ensure your belongings are transported safely.

17. What if I need to make changes to my move?
If you need to make changes to your move, such as the date, services required, or destination, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate your changes, though additional charges may apply depending on the request.

18. How do I tip the movers?
Tipping is not required but is appreciated for excellent service. If you choose to tip, the industry standard is typically 10-15% of the total move cost, or you can tip each mover individually. Cash tips are preferred.
